DraftKey

DraftKey adds AI autocomplete and rewriting to the Mac apps you already write in. As you type, it suggests the next few words; press Tab to accept or keep typing to ignore it. Tap Command + Option to rewrite the current paragraph or a selection: fix it, make it shorter or clearer, change the tone, or type your own instruction. Then review the result before inserting it. The writing model runs on your Mac and works offline after setup, so your text isn't sent to a cloud AI service. The internet is used only for the one-time model download (1.12 GB), license activation and update checks. You choose which apps DraftKey works in. Every license also includes clipboard history (⌘⌥V) and optional mechanical keyboard sounds. It needs macOS 14+ on Apple Silicon with 8 GB of memory. It works in compatible text fields; some custom editors and all secure fields are excluded. $4.99 once, up to 3 Macs, signed and notarized.
